Business Sales Quote by Richard Branson

by Wasim Ismail on December 23, 2011

An idea not coupled with action will never get any bigger than the brain cell it occupied.

~Arnold Glasgow

The year 2011 has been a challenge for many business owners here in the UK, with the recession, and the general ups and downs we have had thought the year. But Lets look on the positive side and finish the year on a high.

Today one of my colleagues has just opened a Snooker Club, we were just discussing how the opportunity came about, as 2 months ago he didn’t even dream of having a snooker club, so why all of a sudden. Well an opportunity came about, the time was right, and he felt he should give it a go. I guess thats what happens generally…right.

One thing he mentioned in our conversation was that, now that he has the club, many others have approached him and said, “oh we were thinking of opening the same thing”. But what stopped them?

When you start something new or take the courage to step up, and do something special, many around you will want to drive the fame wagon with you, but when it comes to doing actions, they will not take no responsibilities.

Everyone is looking for opportunities, whetter its a business or personal, one thing for sure, there is no limit in the opportunities around us, you just need to have the courage to spot one and take action.

As Richard Branson said “Business opportunities are like buses, there’s always another one coming.”

Lets all see what opportunities 2012 will bring us, on this note, this is the last post for 2011, and Its been a great learning curve for myself, and Looking forward to a prosperous 2012, with some new exciting challenges and lots of opportunities.
