We all want the best for our business… Don’t we? So to gain the best we need to invest in our business, with time, funding, and our efforts. If we look at many successful companies around us, they all started somewhere, and one thing you will find common in most of them, is that in the early days their founders invested heavily, whatever they had whether it was time, resources or funds, they gave it their 100% and their best shot.
On the other hand clients also want the best deal. I’ve just come from a meeting where we negotiated over the price for two hours, and as usual what I have promised was me and my team will give our 100% attention to deliver the project according to requirements. Now when you deal with your clients most probably they will ask you for a discount or push you on the price. But if you can make them understand the value of your services and how it will benefit them if they were to hire you or to chose your products, it will make your negotiation much simpler.
This will not happen easily, your potential client sitting in front of you may not know what you can fully offer or bring to the table, they may not have even seen your work. So it is important to go that extra mile and to ensure that you represent your company and your brand by spending that bit extra time to fully understand your clients requirements and to show them the solution via your business.
