“Love What You Do”
– Steve Jobs (1955–2011)
Co-founder of Apple
Earlier today, I was reading Steve Jobs speech that he did Stanford Universtery, and numras times he mentioned the word “love“, which is what made him the Steve Jobs we knew.
“I still loved what I did”
“but I was still in love.”
“and fell in love with an amazing woman who would become my wife”
“I’m convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did.”
“You’ve got to find what you love.”
“And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers.”
“And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.”
Its simple, from one of the main leaders of technology in our era, we learn that to be successful in whatever we want we need to enjoy it and need to love it. Whether its our day job, running our business, or any other task, if we do not love what we do, its impossible to be happy and content, and if we are not happy, its difficult to be successful.
Many times we come across people that are doing their day jobs, or running their business, but are not happy, days are passing by, even months, and years, and they are still the same…not happy with their work. All you have to do is take the courage to change, and find something that you love.
Love what you do and make it a success.
